Lumia is a hyper-liquid Layer 2 rollup designed for Real World Assets (RWA). Originally launched in 2020 as Orion Protocol (ORN), the project rebranded to Lumia in 2023, pivoting to an RWA-focused L2 chain. Lumia Chain provides institutional and retail compliance tools for RWA tokenization, while Lumia Stream integrates these assets into the DeFi ecosystem to provide liquidity. ORN tokens were swapped to LUMIA at a 1:1 ratio.
